Who are we?
The Competency Development and Empowerment Center (CDEC) is a non-profit organization that
supports graduates in transitioning from theoretical knowledge to
competency through high-quality practical training and mentorship. CDEC
offers a variety of educational activities, including mentorship,
coaching, training, and lectures. CDEC also provides professional and
management experiences to nurture and groom the skills and competencies
of fresh graduates and early career professionals in a variety of
fields, such as artificial intelligence, data science, modeling,
mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, business, culture,
communication, environment, education, economy, health, development,
engineering, information and communication technology (ICT). CDEC's
goal is to apply this knowledge to the agriculture, economy,
environment, health, and finance sectors.
Our Activities
In addition to providing educational activities, CDEC also undertakes
research activities in the areas (

environment, health, and finance sectors
) listed above. CDEC collaborates with
international research centers, advanced laboratories, and national
research programs around the world. CDEC also facilitates research,
experimentation, and demonstration in various areas in collaboration
with the Cameroonian government and other African governments.
